Early 19th Century Watercolour of Shells

A delightful early 19th Century watercolour of shells and seaweed in the original black and gold glass mount and frame. This antique watercolour depicts a beautiful still life grouping of shells and seaweed, beautifully painted by a highly competent, but unknown hand. The shells were probably treasures or mementos from an excursion. The condition of this Regency watercolour is very good, the colours are crisp and bright and the orininal frame is in very good order. A decorative and very interesting antique picture to add style to ant wall.
