Early 20th Century Mahogany Campaign Desk

A superb mahogany campaign desk of good neat proportions dating from the early part of the 20th Century. This solid antique campaign desk has one long drawer in the removable top and three drawers in each of the twin pedestals. The condition of this antique desk is good overall, there are a few marks and blemishes as you would expect in an antique piece and there is some marking to the inner sides of the pedestals. These marks are probably a result of their military life, being transported as desks of this type were designed to be. These marks merely add to the character of what is essentially a piece of military kit, and cam be seen clearly in the photographs. This is a very attractive early 20th Century desk that stands firmly on its plinth base, the colour is good and rich and compliments the traditional brass handles beautifully. A very useful and handsome piece of military furniture that would be a stylish addition to any interior.
