Superb Victorian Artist's Easel
This superb 19th Century mahogany artist's easel has a real feel of the Bloomsbury set. A generously proportioned Victorian easel with square section supports, central brass adjustable mechanism and compartment with shelf for paints and brushes. This antique easel is in very good condition and would have been a necessity in the Victorian artist's studio. The easel stands solidly and looks very stylish, though predominately made of mahogany, a couple of the base supports are of stained pine. Today, in addition to its practical use, it offers a wonderful means of displaying artwork in the home in an original and decorative way.
